Description


The United States dropped an atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima, Japan near the end of World War 2. This was the firt atomic bomb to be used in military action. 90% of the casualties were civilian Japanese, living in the city. 80% of the city was destroyed.

What about the deaths due to radiation released from the bomb?

I think there may have been about 11,000 more death due to radiation from the bomb that occurred over the next few years.

Remember Pearl Harbor?Never start a war.People fight with whatever weapons they have on hand.The bomb just happened to be nuclear.It ended the war and saved lives.
