Virginia Tech Massacre
| When: 16-Apr-2007 Deaths: 32  DescriptionSeung-Hui Cho killed 32 people at Virginia Tech and wounded many more. There were two shootings, two hours apart. Afterward, Cho committed suicide. It was widely reported as the "deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history." Cho who had a history of mental illness, was born in South Korea, but moved to the USA when he was 8 years old. He was a student at Virginia Tech in his senior year, majoring in English.
